  • Zinc undecylenate is an organometallic compound with the chemical formula C22H38O4Zn, consisting of zinc bound to undecylenic acid, a monounsaturated fatty acid with antifungal properties. It appears as a fine white to off-white powder that is insoluble in water but soluble in oils and organic solvents. The compound is formed by the reaction of zinc oxide with undecylenic acid, resulting in a salt where zinc is coordinated with two carboxylate groups.
