Primary brain tumors are tumors that arise within the brain or brain’s immediate surroundings. It can be any tissue located in the brain including central nervous system tissues (gliomas), pituitary gland (pituitary adenomas), pineal gland (pineocytomas), brain blood vessels (hemangioblastomas), etc.
