Immunostaining of fixed brain slices using anti-CD31 (PECAM) antibodies is a powerful and easy way to visualize blood vessels in the brain.
This method is used by Watkins et al., 2014 to study vascular co-option and perivascular invasion of glioma cells in the mouse brain.
