Cell line isolation information

The cell line DAOY was established from Desmoplastic Cerebellar Medulloblastoma tumor taken from a 4 year old boy. (Jacobsen et al., 1985)

Recommended propagation method

Culture medium:
Eagle’s Minimum Essential Medium (+ 2mM Glutamine) + 10% FBS REF

Culture conditions: Humidified incubator, 95% air + 5% CO2, 37°C REF
Split ratio: 1:4 to 1:6 REF

Harvesting time: Subconfluent culture (≈ 80% ) REF
