- During the G2 phase, cyclin B1 is localized in the cytoplasm.
- Cyclin B1 accumulation on centrosome start in the mid-G2 phase. In late G2, the local concentration of cyclin B1 is highest at the centrosomes.
- At the onset of mitosis, cyclin B1 accumulation starts in the nucleus.
- During mitosis, after the nuclear membrane breaks down, it is present everywhere. Degradation of cyclin B1 starts at the beginning of the anaphase.
