Transplantation of 1.25 – 5.0 x 105 cells in the brain of adult 6 – 12 weeks old immunodeficient C.B.17 scid mice has been shown to generate perivascular-associated, vessel co-opted invasive tumors within 2 – 4 weeks (Watkins et al., 2014).
