Murata-Kamiya et al., 2007 showed that β-catenin is localized in the plasma membrane at cell-cell junctions in the MKN-28 cell line using immunocytochemistry. Upon cagA ectopic expression (wild-type or phospho-resistant mutant), β-catenin is also seen in the cytoplasm and in the nucleus.
Method: Immunocytochemistry
Cell line: MKN-28 stably expressing wild-type and phospho-resistant CagA
