- HepG2 cells stably expressing Cyclin D1 show a reduced level of p21 expression (both mRNA and protein) as compared to control HepG2 cells (vector control) upon IL6 treatment (Bienvenu et al., 2005). Note that IL6 treatment induces p21 expression in HepG2 cells.
- Insulin-pretreated HepG2 cells show reduced p21 expression (transcription) upon treatment with IL6 (Bienvenu et al., 2005). Note that IL6 treatment induces p21 expression and insulin induces cyclin D1 expression in HepG2 cells.
